A Field Visit for Finance and Banking Students to Tamkeen Financial Services (Cash Wallet)

As part of the practical application of the major's courses and strengthening the link between academic and field experience, third-year students in the Department of Finance and Banking, College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University, conducted a field visit to Tamkeen Financial Services (Cash Wallet) as part of the "Bank Credit Management" course. They were accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohammed Al Kahali, Dean of the College.
The student delegation was received by Professor Munir Muzahim, CEO of Tamkeen, Professor Yahya Hamis, Head of Relations and Marketing, and Professor Najib Al Taweel, Head of Research and Development.
During the visit, the students learned about the evolution of e-wallets across different generations and were given the opportunity to view Tamkeen's business models and how it provides its modern digital financial services.
The tour also included an introduction to the company's administrative and organizational structure and the workflow of its various departments, including: the Operations Department, which includes the Customer Support Department, the Customer Service Department, the Points of Service Department, and the Call Center; the Marketing and Relations Department, which includes field marketing and e-marketing; the Graphics and Relations Department; the Development and Research Department; the Information Technology Department, which includes networks, information security, databases, and application development; and the Financial Department, which includes support, assistance, resources, training, and financial oversight.
The students demonstrated great engagement with the experience, which provided them with valuable practical knowledge and enhanced their awareness of the requirements of the digital labor market in the financial and banking sector.
This visit comes within the context of the university's focus on integrating theoretical and practical aspects and expanding students' horizons toward innovation and modern financial technology.
