In an academic setting reflecting the depth of educational quality and the spirit of innovation, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a distinguished graduation project by students from the International Business Administration Department, entitled: "The Impact of Talent Management on Enhancing Institutional Excellence – A Case Study of Yemen Airways."
The project was presented by a select group of creative students: Jihad Al-Muraisi, Sarah Al-Qahim, Mayada Badi, Maram Al-Wazir, Asma Al-Ariqi, Shahd Al-Ariqi, and Iman Al-Mujahid. It was supervised by the distinguished academic supervisor, Professor Safaa Mohammed Al-Shaibani, and examined by a committee that included Dr. Ammar Al-Ramada (external examiner) and Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi.
This research reflects an advanced level of scientific and applied understanding, addressing one of the most important modern topics in the world of management: talent management and its role in achieving organizational excellence within large institutions, based on a detailed field study of Yemen Airways.
Through a descriptive and analytical approach, and using data collected from 97 employees, the students employed advanced analytical tools via SPSS software to arrive at findings confirming that investing in talent—from talent identification and recruitment to talent development and retention—is the cornerstone of building distinguished and competitive organizations.
The study went beyond mere analysis, offering high-quality strategic recommendations. Foremost among these was the necessity of adopting clear talent management policies and establishing specialized units within human resources departments dedicated to identifying and developing talent, in line with global trends in modern management.
This achievement clearly reflects the quality of educational outcomes at the Emirates International University, which goes beyond simply providing theoretical knowledge. It cultivates qualified individuals capable of analyzing realities and offering practical solutions that contribute to the development of national institutions.
What this group of students has presented is not merely a graduation project; it is a message of awareness and creativity, affirming that the future is built by qualified minds, and that excellence begins in the halls of the university, extending to the workplace and real impact.
