In an academic scene reflecting the spirit of innovation and renewal, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a unique graduation project by students specializing in Financial and Banking Sciences. The project, titled "The Impact of Financial Digitalization on Enhancing the Quality of Banking Services" (a field case study on CAC Bank customers in the capital city), was presented by a group of talented students: Basma Ali Al-Shami, Shahd Naji Al-Waqt, Malouk Ali Al-Khalidi, Malak Abdul Rahman Al-Zain, and Haifa Shahir Al-Adhari, under the esteemed academic supervision of Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Hajj and Professor Roua Al-Mujahid.
This project is one of the distinguished academic achievements of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences. The discussion took place in the presence of a specialized scientific committee comprised of a distinguished group of academics, led by Dr. Abdulwasea Al-Daqqaq (external examiner), along with Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, Dr. Jabr Al-Sunbani, Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqqaf, and Professor Ru’a Al-Mujahid.
The project was conceived to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the banking sector. It aimed to analyze the impact of financial digitization on the quality of banking services at CAC Bank through a meticulous field study targeting a sample of the bank's clients at the Tax Authority.
The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology using advanced statistical tools via SPSS software, reflecting the high level of academic and practical training possessed by the university students.
The study reached several important conclusions, most notably: a strong positive correlation exists between financial digitization and the quality of banking services; security and privacy are the most influential factors in customer trust; the bank's technological infrastructure is advanced, and there is a need to enhance its digital organizational culture.
The students presented a set of strategic recommendations, most notably: continuing to develop the technological infrastructure, investing in training banking staff and promoting digital literacy, and expanding digital banking services while ensuring the highest security standards.
These high-quality projects reflect the advanced level of education offered by Emirates International University, which extends beyond theory to building research and applied skills capable of addressing real-world challenges in the job market.
It is a university that makes a difference, graduating a generation equipped with the tools of the future and capable of leading the digital transformation across various sectors, especially the banking sector.
