In a display of innovation and high-quality educational outcomes, the Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a distinguished graduation project by students from the Information Technology Department in the College of Engineering. The project presented a modern vision for transforming the university experience into a smart and integrated digital experience.
The project, titled "A Mobile Application for Automating Services and Transactions for University Students," offered a practical model demonstrating the students' ability to translate academic knowledge into real-world technological solutions that serve the university environment and keep pace with modern demands.
The project was presented by students Naji Jazilan, Ghaith Al-Aghbari, Bassam Al-Adimi, and Abdulraqib Al-Uwa, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi. The team demonstrated a high level of professionalism in system design and the development of a comprehensive database, along with the development of smart scenarios for managing student transactions through an integrated mobile application and administrative control panel.
The project's excellence extended beyond this, as it also included the design of a smart chatbot capable of interacting with student inquiries and providing them with immediate support. This reflects the university's commitment to integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the educational and service processes.
During the discussion, which was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University, Professor Ibrahim Farea, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and Professor Hani Damaj, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, the discussion committee, comprised of Professor Mohammed Al-Kholani and Dr. Hisham Aqlan, praised the advanced level of the project. They emphasized that it represents a promising model, capable of development, practical application, and integration with various university systems.
This project reaffirms the university's steady progress towards graduating technically competent individuals capable of innovation and problem-solving, through a modern educational environment that focuses on practical application and cultivates students' creative thinking skills.
These are not just graduation projects; they are concrete steps towards a digital future confidently and competently built by the university's students.
