In an academic atmosphere reflecting the spirit of research and innovation, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University launched its graduation project discussion sessions for students today, beginning with those in the Management Information Systems Department. This initiative aims to refine students' skills and enhance their research and practical capabilities before graduation.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, attended the launch session and delivered an encouraging speech to the students, emphasizing that graduation projects are not merely an academic requirement, but a true launching pad into the job market and an opportunity to showcase their future professional abilities. The Head of the Management Information Systems Department also attended and provided students with valuable guidance on research quality and the mechanisms for formulating research plans professionally.
Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi and Professor Safaa Al-Bahlouli, both faculty members, also participated in the discussions, contributing insightful scientific observations and insightful contributions that enhanced the academic value of the presented projects.
The first day of discussion sessions saw the presentation of a project by the first group of students from the department, amidst positive interaction and praise for the high level of scientific presentation and the students' methodological thinking. The project is a smart citizen application. It was presented by students: Wissam Musaed Al-Faiq, Mohammed Waleed Al-Maamari, Mohammed Tariq Al-Duais, Elias Ahmed Al-Arami, Munir Sami Al-Baghdadi, and Ziad Mansour Abdul Qader, under the supervision of Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi and Ms. Safaa Al-Bahlouli.
Discussions of graduation project proposals for students in the Management Information Systems Department will continue this week. Next week, the college will begin discussing graduation research proposals for the remaining academic departments, reflecting the university's commitment to developing its students' skills and promoting a culture of scientific research across various disciplines.
