In an academic scene reflecting the accelerating digital transformation in higher education, the Emirates International University – Yemen witnessed the discussion of a unique and distinguished graduation project by students of the International Business Administration Department (English Section) in the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences. The project, titled "The Impact of the Electronic Payment System on Student Satisfaction – A Case Study of the Emirates International University," was presented by a select group of students: Amr Khaled Al-Suhaibi, Fayyad Fateh Al-Dabi, Saqr Saif Abdullah, Mohammed Khaled Qasim, Mahmoud Al-Muqbali, and Yousef Sami Al-Shaibani. It was supervised by the accomplished academic Dr. Jaber Al-Shami and embodies an advanced level of applied scientific research relevant to the needs of the university environment.
The discussion committee comprised a distinguished group of academic leaders, including: Dr. Emad Al-Ramada (external examiner), Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali (Dean of the College), Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi (Head of the Department of International Business Administration), Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf, Dr. Mohammed Al-Raawi, and supervisor Dr. Jaber Al-Shami, clearly demonstrating the institution's commitment to the quality of academic output.
The study analyzed six key dimensions of the electronic payment system: ease of use, security and privacy, transaction speed, system reliability, cost and fees, and accessibility. The research team employed a rigorous scientific methodology, collecting data from 111 student users of the system and analyzing it using advanced statistical tools.
The results revealed a strong and statistically significant positive impact of all these dimensions on student satisfaction. Transaction speed and accessibility topped the list of most influential factors, followed by ease of use. The remaining dimensions also proved important in enhancing the student's digital experience within the university.
Despite the overall positive aspects, the researchers did not overlook some challenges, such as security concerns and occasional performance inconsistencies. They offered professional recommendations reflecting a deep research awareness, most notably: improving system speed, enhancing compatibility with different devices, increasing transparency in security communication, and reviewing fees periodically.
This project is not merely a graduation requirement; it is a living example of the quality of education at Emirates International University, which focuses on building competencies capable of analysis, innovation, and providing practical, applicable solutions.
The students' work reflects outstanding educational outcomes, confirming that the university does not simply provide knowledge, but rather cultivates a generation of leaders capable of keeping pace with digital transformation and making an impact in modern business environments.
Here, we don't just graduate students; we create experts equipped with the tools of the future.
