In an academic setting reflecting the depth of excellence and quality of educational outcomes, Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a unique graduation project by students in the International Business Administration Department. The project, titled "The Impact of Logistics Operations on Increasing Sales: A Case Study of the Hael Saeed Anam Group," reflects the connection between academic knowledge and the job market.
This project, submitted as part of the requirements for a Bachelor's degree, was presented by a distinguished group of students: Abdulkarim Ali Yahya Al-Yahya, Ahmed Sadiq Al-Jahouri, Khalid Mohammed Jahish, Mohammed Al-Idrisi, Mohammed Al-Humairi, Yousef Yahya Al-Qouza, and Ziad Tariq Al-Nabi. It was supervised by the accomplished academic supervisor, Professor Safaa Ali Al-Hanbashi, and examined by a committee comprised of Dr. Emad Al-Ramada (external examiner), Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Raawi.
The project was distinguished by its in-depth, applied scientific approach, aiming to analyze the impact of logistics operations—in their dimensions of supply, transportation, and warehousing—on sales growth in one of the largest commercial groups in Yemen. The researchers employed a rigorous scientific methodology, utilizing advanced statistical analysis tools via SPSS software, including t-tests and correlation coefficients, reflecting the high level of academic and research qualifications possessed by the university students.
The results revealed a significant and statistically substantial impact of logistics operations on boosting sales. Warehousing operations ranked first in terms of influence, followed by transportation, and then supply. This highlights the importance of intelligent inventory management and ensuring the availability of high-quality products in achieving customer satisfaction and maximizing revenue.
The project did not stop at diagnosis; it also offered a set of practical recommendations, most notably: promoting the use of modern technologies in warehousing, developing transportation tracking systems, building strategic partnerships with suppliers, and enhancing integration between logistics and sales departments.
This scientific achievement clearly embodies the vision of the Emirates International University in preparing graduates capable of bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, and providing realistic solutions that serve the business sector and contribute to economic development.
This is not merely a graduation project defense; it is a confident step towards cultivating future leaders, and a living testament to the quality of education and its outcomes that meet and exceed market demands.
