Today, Sunday, the university held a celebration event to welcome new students to the College of Engineering and Information Technology in all its departments. The event aimed to welcome new students, as well as introduce them to the university's rules and regulations, the instructions regulating study, exams, and services provided by the university to its students, in addition to answering their questions and inquiries related to the educational process. At the beginning of the event, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, welcomed the university’s leadership and staff, as well as the new students in the College of Engineering and Information Technology, pointing out that this batch represents a qualitative addition to the university and that the university, in order to distinguish its students, has harnessed all possibilities in order to achieve that distinction. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim stressed that the university, since its establishment, has achieved remarkable success and a high reputation for its ability to continuously develop thanks to the continuous support, care and follow-up of the University’s Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, who, since its establishment, has sought to attract a distinguished elite of faculty members, academic and administrative staff, and followers The university has the best and latest educational policies and programs in accordance with the highest quality standards applicable at the local and international levels. The university president urged the students to be serious, persevere, attend and follow-up continuously. He pointed out that the university will work to overcome all difficulties and challenges to achieve their distinction. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel-Mughni, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fouad Al-Haj, Legal Adviser to the University, Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, Head of the Mechatronics Department, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, Head of the Oil and Gas Department, Prof. Ibrahim Farea, Head of the Information Technology Department, Prof. Anwar Al-Shamiri, and Head of the Engineering Department The civil Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Wazaf and a number of faculty members and their assistants at the university and heads of departments and departments related to the university.
