The laboratories of the Department of Human Medicine and Surgery and the Department of Medical Laboratories are equipped with the latest devices, tools, and equipment to enable students to conduct various experiments. Students are given the opportunity to interact with devices and experiments that simulate physiological processes in the human body and how to monitor, measure, and document them. They are also trained in the scientific methods of using the microscope and its use in identifying different sections of tissues in the human body. They also receive training in subjects related to physiology and their uses, such as measuring respiratory functions, electrocardiograms, measuring blood pressure, examining muscle contractions, and conducting chemical tests on the human body. The basic science laboratories, equipped with the latest devices, such as microscopes and sterilization equipment, that focus on teaching students the basic principles of diagnosing infectious diseases.
The Immunology Laboratory contains the latest tools and equipment necessary for conducting various serological applications. It includes immunological analysis devices, color absorption measuring devices, a sterilization unit, a tissue culture unit, centrifuges, an integrated electrophoresis device for analyzing blood components, a tubular electrophoresis device, mechanical shaking devices, automatic water baths, incubators, and sterilization ovens. The General Anatomy Lab (the most modern and largest among private universities in Yemen) provides a detailed three-dimensional anatomical model of the human body, with the ability to simulate the finest details and delve into the folds of organs. It is equipped with preserved cadavers, processed anatomical parts, and detailed plastic models of various body parts used to teach students practical anatomy .
