Conclusion of a training course in the field of respiratory therapy for students from various specialties of the Faculty of Medicine and honoring its participants

Yesterday, Tuesday, a training course in the field of respiratory therapy was concluded, which was held under the auspices of the President of the University, Dr. Naguib Al-Kumaim, and was supervised by the Quality and Academic Development Department and the Student Affairs Activities Department, in partnership with the Inma Academy for Studies. The course was held over 8 days. She trained the trainer in the field of respiratory therapy, Iman Al-Siaghi, where the course content varied between the theoretical aspect for a period of five days and the practical aspect for a period of 3 days for the students participating in the training course at Al-Thawra General Hospital. The training course aimed to familiarize the participants with how to deal with critical cases and receive them, and to train the participants on the work of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for critical cases and the steps to rescue them. The course also aimed to familiarize the participants with the process of drawing arterial blood, knowing the percentage of gases, the means of treatment, and identifying the industrial respiratory system, its importance, the reasons for its use, and other aspects related to this field. At the end of the course, the participants in the course were honored with certificates of participation. The participants were honored by: Vice President for Academic Affairs, Director General of the Quality Department, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, Director of Academic Affairs, Director of Activities Department, and Trainer of the Training Course.
