Innovative research in drug delivery using nanotechnology for Vitamin B12 earns Emirati University graduate Fatima Abubaker a Master's degree from Marmara University in Turkey

Reflecting the excellence of its academic output, graduates of the Emirati International University continue to achieve scientific successes at both the regional and international levels. Graduate Fatima Khaled Mohammed Abubaker earned her Master's degree in Pharmacology from Marmara University, specifically from the Faculty of Pharmacy – Department of Pharmacology, after a distinguished academic career.

 

Her thesis, titled:

 

“Vitamin B12-loaded Nanoparticle-Embedded Scaffolds Produced by the 3D Printer for Controlled Drug Delivery,” addressed one of the most prominent modern trends in nanomedicine, focusing on targeted drug delivery using 3D printing technologies, which contributes to the development of more precise and effective treatment regimens.

 

 Graduate Fatima is among the first graduates of Emirates International University (EIU), having graduated in 2020 as part of the inaugural cohort in Clinical Pharmacy from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. She then continued her academic journey with steadfastness and ambition, achieving this remarkable accomplishment at the postgraduate level.

 

In her profile, Fatima emphasized her pride in the scientific foundation she received during her undergraduate studies, which served as the springboard for this excellence. She noted that the supportive educational environment at EIU played a significant role in honing her skills and preparing her to meet the demands of advanced scientific research.
