The leadership of the Emirates International University held an expanded meeting today, Monday, with the staff of the University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The meeting aimed to review the progress of the educational process at the college and discuss ongoing preparations for the admissions and registration process for the upcoming academic year 1447 AH.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mufri, President of the University, and attended by the University Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani; the University Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi; the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri; the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Sadiq Abdul-Mughni; the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratories, Dr. Abdul-Basit Al-Ghouri; the Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi; and a number of academic staff from various scientific departments, teaching assistants, and academic coordinators in the college's departments.
During the meeting, the University President praised the efforts of the college's academic and administrative staff, emphasizing the important role the College of Medicine plays in graduating qualified personnel equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to provide the community with qualified medical professionals.
The Secretary-General of the College also urged the College's staff to make greater efforts during the admissions and registration period and to engage in marketing efforts to attract students to enroll in the college's various departments.
The Dean of the College of Medicine presented a detailed report on the progress of the educational process for the second semester in various departments and specializations, highlighting the efforts made to improve the quality of education. The challenges facing the college and ways to overcome them were also discussed.
The meeting also addressed the ongoing preparations for the admissions and registration process for the academic year 1447 AH, discussing plans and mechanisms to attract the largest possible number of students who meet the admission requirements for the college's various departments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of concerted efforts was emphasized to ensure the success of the educational process, the admissions and registration process, and the achievement of the university's goals.
