In an atmosphere filled with pride in their accomplishment and feelings of farewell mixed with gratitude, students of the Clinical Pharmacy Department at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Emirates International University organized a special student art ceremony this Sunday morning to bid farewell to the seventh class of the academic year 1446 AH (2024–2025 AD).
The ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani; the Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi; the Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Ghouri; the Academic Coordinator of the Department, Dr. Naseem Tawfiq; the Activities Officer, Engineer Osama Hazam; and Dr. Ruwa Al-Sarouri, the Department's Teaching Assistant. They were joined by a select group of faculty members and their assistants, the graduates' families, and fellow students.
In the university's speech, delivered by Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, he welcomed the attendees and congratulated the graduates on this academic achievement. He emphasized that the graduation of this group represents the fruit of integrated scientific and educational efforts, the culmination of years of perseverance and dedication, and a new beginning toward serving the community and the field of clinical pharmacy with professionalism and competence. He also expressed his pride in the department's graduates, who represent a qualitative addition to the health sector. He urged them to be ambassadors for the university wherever they go, carrying its message of excellence, creativity, and service to humanity.
The ceremony included the recitation of the medical oath, during which the graduates renewed their commitment to the professional and humanitarian values of the pharmacy profession. This was complemented by expressive artistic performances that reflected the presence of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Yemeni people. The graduates also delivered moving speeches expressing their pride in belonging to the university and their gratitude to their professors who contributed to building their personalities and refining their academic and practical skills.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the graduates and faculty members, and taking commemorative photos to commemorate the farewell moment. This festive atmosphere embodied the deep bonds that have bound the students and their university throughout their academic journey.
