Mission and objectives
To graduate highly qualified, competent mechatronics engineers with the comprehensive knowledge and strong practical experience necessary to integrate the principles of electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering into the design of programmable machines.
1. Providing the student with a solid foundation in mathematics and basic engineering sciences appropriate to the major.
2. Develop a professional education and training system for mechatronics engineers in various engineering branches, including design, manufacturing, management, maintenance, and various service and technical fields in the engineering industries.
3. Teaching general and specialized courses that enhance students’ understanding of the economic, environmental, ethical, political, social, and cultural impact of the engineering choices and decisions they make.
4. Providing students with the opportunity to develop and apply the skills, techniques, and energies necessary for effective performance at work.
5. Graduating highly qualified mechatronics engineers in mechatronics engineering who are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and personal attributes necessary to contribute effectively to their work environment and to society.
