To graduate highly qualified mechatronics engineers with a comprehensive knowledge and strong practical experience necessary to integrate principles of electrical, mechanical and computer engineering into the design of programmable logic-controlled machines.
1.Provide a firm foundation in mathematics and basic engineering sciences as required by the engineering discipline.
2.Develop the education and training of mechatronics engineers to a professional level in various disciplines including design, manufacturing, management, maintenance and technical service areas of the engineering industry.
3.Provide general education courses that enhance student’s understanding of the economic, environmental, ethical, political, societal, and cultural impact of their engineering solutions and/or decisions.
4.Provide opportunities for students to develop and apply a range of skills, techniques and attributes essential for effective performance at work.
5.Produce highly-qualified national graduates of mechatronics engineering prepared with the requisite skills, knowledge, understanding and personal attributes necessary to contribute effectively to their chosen profession and the development of the society.
