Department head’s speech

Mechatronics engineering is one of the most important engineering specializations that transform devices and machines from mechanical and electrical operation to automation. It mainly aims to reduce human intervention and move towards automated reliance in industries, whether through artificial intelligence or robotics. Therefore,  it depends on the combination of electrical, mechanical and computer engineering together. This specialization has many advantages and opportunities, and is considered the basic basis for the development of automation and manufacturing processes, as mechatronics engineering currently includes many engineering branches and technical specializations, such as: robotics, motion control systems, automotive systems, measuring devices, electromechanical systems, and smart systems , precision devices, and others..
