Today, Thursday, the university held a celebration event to welcome new students to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences in all its departments. The event aimed to welcome new students, as well as introduce them to the university's regulations and bylaws, the instructions regulating study, exams, and services provided by the university to its student children, in addition to answering their questions and inquiries related to the educational process. At the beginning of the event, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, welcomed the university’s leadership and staff, as well as the new students in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, pointing out that this batch represents a qualitative addition to the university and that the university, in order to distinguish its students, has harnessed all possibilities in order to achieve that distinction. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim stressed that the university, since its establishment, has achieved remarkable success and a high reputation for its ability to continuously develop thanks to the continuous support, care and follow-up of the University’s Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, who, since its establishment, has sought to attract a distinguished elite of faculty members, academic and administrative staff, and followers The university has the best and latest educational policies and programs in accordance with the highest quality standards applicable at the local and international levels. The president of the university said that the next stage requires everyone to be highly responsible and make more efforts and work together for the further development and prosperity of the university to achieve its vision, mission and goals by reaching the university's prestigious refineries locally and regionally. The university president urged the students to be serious, persevere, attend and follow up. He pointed out that the university will work to overcome all difficulties and challenges to achieve their distinction. For his part, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel-Mughni, welcomed "saying that the university welcomes new students and is interested in the first place that the new student is distinguished in study." Taking responsibility and keenness on seriousness and diligence with self-motivated and aspiring spirit of creativity, innovation and excellence. In the speech of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri urged the students to persevere and always look forward to acquiring advanced levels of study and to invest all the possibilities offered by the university to them and take advantage of them in order to enhance their educational capabilities so that they can supply the country, society and the health sector with distinguished quality cadres. The event was attended by a member of the Board of Trustees and Advisor to the Chairman of the Council, Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami, Legal Advisor Dr. Fouad Al-Haj, Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Azazi, Head of the Dental Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, a number of heads of medical departments, faculty members and their assistants, and heads of departments and related departments at the university.
