In a strategic achievement reflecting its ambitious vision to build an integrated medical education system according to the highest academic and professional standards, Emirates International University signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Ahli Modern Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, to accredit the hospital as a university hospital. This significant step embodies the integration of academic education, healthcare, and scientific research.

The agreement was signed in the presence of university and hospital leaders. Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Salah, President of the University, represented the university, while Dr. Mohsen Mohammed Al-Madhari, the hospital's Director General, represented the hospital. The atmosphere reflected the spirit of partnership and shared vision for a more advanced and distinguished medical and educational future.

Under the agreement, the hospital will be accredited as a university hospital for Emirates International University, providing training and scientific qualification that aligns with the medical education process for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. It will also serve as a scientific platform supporting clinical education, applied training, scientific research, and continuing medical development programs. 

During the signing ceremony, University President Professor Khaled Ahmed Salah emphasized that the hospital's accreditation as a teaching hospital is a strategic step towards creating an advanced applied learning environment. This environment will contribute to honing students' skills and directly connecting them with real-world medical practice, positively impacting the quality of academic outcomes and community service.

For his part, Dr. Mohsen Mohammed Al-Madhari, Director General of the Modern Private Hospital, expressed his pride in this partnership with the Emirates International University. He affirmed that the hospital is placing its medical and technical capabilities at the service of the educational and training process, stemming from its belief in the importance of integration between health and educational institutions in developing the medical sector and improving healthcare services.

The agreement underscores the establishment of a long-term strategic partnership aimed at creating an integrated model for clinical medical education according to modern academic standards.
