The Academic Accreditation Council carries out a field visit for the verification and field technical support team for the medical programs at the UAE University

 The Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education carried out a field trip today, Tuesday, to the UAE University, “the second trip,” headed by Prof. Dr. Anwar Masoud, a member of the Council, with the aim of providing technical and advisory support for medical programs (medicine, surgery, pharmacy, and dentistry).

 The team was received by the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, and the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Professor Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi.

 In the meeting, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, welcomed the team that is visiting the university for the second time, expressing his thanks for the efforts made by the Council and the role it plays in developing the educational process. Wishing the Council team and the university team success in their efforts to provide technical support to complete the self-evaluation process for the programs that the university submitted to obtain special accreditation.

 On the other hand, Dr. Anwar Masoud, head of the team, stressed the importance of field visits to the university in order to verify and provide field technical support to study the self-evaluation of medical programs according to the program readiness verification form, which the Council provides to universities for free and on an ongoing basis, through which documents are matched according to the form and comments are provided. What must be done to complete the files for the programs and then finalize their preparation and hand them over to the council to later carry out the accreditation procedures after reviewing them by a specialized committee and forming a team of external reviewers to go to the university.

 It is worth noting that the team consists of three committees of experts who were trained by the Council to provide technical support for the three programs.

 While the members of the Council committees were composed of: Prof. Dr. Fadel Al-Wasabi and Prof. Dr. Sam fucking and dr. Mohsen Al-Hazmi and Dr. Hoda Abdullah Dr. Muhammad Al-Khawlani

 While the committees began their work with the deans of colleges and heads of departments, reviewing files according to academic standards.
