Students of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Human Medicine - Level 4 - The Fingerprint of a Doctor initiative organized a charity bazaar today, Sunday, whose proceeds will be allocated to support the completion of the construction of the Al-Ashr Mosque, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department and the University Student Forum at the university.
The bazaar was opened in the presence of Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Moufari, President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, Vice President of the University, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Secretary General of the University, Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Moghni, Deputy Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Head of the Department of Human Medicine, a number of deans and heads of scientific departments, and a number of academic and administrative staff. , Director of Activities and Secretary General of the University Student Forum at the university, and the chairperson and members of the Student Doctor’s Fingerprint Initiative.
During the inauguration, the university president, Dr. Nasser Al-Moufari, praised the efforts of the organizers, expressing the university's pride in the presence of such wonderful energies and talents from students who deserve all appreciation and support for their human feelings and their religious and moral duty towards the people of their community.
The university president said: "This initiative reflects the spirit of voluntary work among students, and their keenness to contribute to community service, stressing the university's keenness to provide the appropriate environment for students to practice their various activities and develop their skills and abilities.
At the end of the bazaar opening, the university president and his entourage from the university leadership, deans of faculties and heads of departments toured the bazaar's wings and looked at the offered charitable products and materials.
The bazaar, which witnessed a great turnout from male and female university students in various faculties, was attended by a number of entities that contributed to displaying their products and services, ranging from foods, books, calligraphy, photography, traditional clothing, ceramic products and other handicrafts.
