Today, Thursday, the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university organized a scientific day for its students in the departments of human medicine, clinical pharmacy and laboratories, under the generous sponsorship of the university president, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, which included a presentation of the graduation research, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Saleh Al Dhaheri, and the heads of medical departments, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Mughni, Head of the Department of Human Medicine, and Dr. Mokhtar Al-Gharibi, Head of Clinical Pharmacy Department, and Dr. Abdul Baset Al-Ghouri, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, and a number of academics and parents of the discussing students. The President of the University inaugurated the scientific day event by welcoming the attendance of deans, academics, administrators, students and parents, expressing thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College of Medicine, heads of medical departments and professors supervising the students’ research and congratulating the students for holding the scientific day to discuss graduation research and distinguishing their research topics, stressing the importance of clinical graduation projects, Which students provide to contribute to finding solutions to the various health problems that the country suffers from, and which reflect the students' abilities, skills and scientific knowledge that the students learned during their school years. Wishing the graduates further progress in the practical and practical aspects. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim indicated that the university attaches great importance to scientific research, noting that the directives of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees contributed to the development of plans and strategies for the advancement of scientific research, so that the UAE University would become a knowledge-producing university characterized by creativity and innovation to raise the level of higher education and the transition to applied education that contributes to Providing practical solutions to community problems. For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university, Prof. Saleh Al Dhaheri, indicated that the goal of the scientific day is to provide the graduate students with an opportunity to present their ideas and cognitive touches that they acquired during the years of study, and to present their scientific research. He stressed the importance of learning the scientific research skills of the university student, in addition to the clinical skills, noting that the scientific days organized by the university to discuss graduation research are one of the most important practical aspects for the student to acquire those skills and experiences that help him during his graduate studies. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College, Dr. Mokhtar Al-Garafi, Head of Clinical Pharmacy Department, Pharma D, and Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Mughni, Head of the Department of Human Medicine, and Dr. Abdul Baset Al-Ghouri, Head of the Medical Laboratories Department, and Dr. Abdullah Thawabeh, Director of the Oncology Center at Al-Jumhouri Hospital, Professor Dr. Hafez Al-Noud, Professor of Hematology, Sana’a University, and Dr. Ali Al-Yahwi, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Al-Razi University. Where the student graduation research groups presented their research that touched on health problems and diseases such as the study of cancerous diseases such as breast cancer, blood diseases and other diseases and problems that threaten human health, through visual presentations distributed on a number of important topics as follows: 1. Evaluation of drugs for coronary artery patients, the main supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ali Yahyi. During the discussion, the Head of Clinical Pharmacology Dept. Dr. Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharibi expressed his happiness at graduating the first batch of the department, expressing the importance of the clinical role of medical department graduates in providing health care services alongside doctors and patient service, as the pharmacist nicknamed Dr. The committee commended the efforts made by the students and their supervisors in completing their research on time and for the scientific value of the research that rises to the level of postgraduate research.
