Mission

The department's mission is to provide students with the latest oil and gas technology through a commitment to excellence in academic programs and advanced research capabilities, enabling graduates to compete and excel in the local and regional labor market. The department also aims to prepare students for positions of leadership, responsibility, and community service

1. Providing  an educational program to graduate high-quality engineers

2.Providing an environment that enables students and department members to contribute to the development of innovative knowledge and practice in oil and gas engineering.

3.Establishing  and developing  scientific research capabilities and develop knowledge, skills and competencies for continuous self-learning.

4. Establishing  close relationships with various oil and gas industry units to achieve a link between the theoretical knowledge acquired in the department and practical experiences

I welcome the distinguished visitors to the website of the Department of  Oiland Gas Engineering at Emirates International University It is worth noting that oil and gas engineering combines the natural and engineering sciences necessary to design, operate and manage exploration and production operations, and to evaluate and develop oil and gas fields. The oil and gas sector is a vital sector of utmost importance in supporting the national economies of producing countries. In many of these countries, it constitutes the cornerstone of building these economies, and even the main nerve for producing the energy needed for other industries in the world, and providing them with raw materials, especially in the field of petrochemicals.   The Oil and Gas Department at ُEmirates International University  is distinguished by its state-of-the-art specialized laboratories required for the practical application of 8 of the 22 specialized courses, which are described within an academic program that meets national academic standards and international engineering standards (ABET) .   The educational process in the department is managed by a select group of specialized cadres with distinguished competencies and field experience, achieving the objectives of the academic program and meeting graduate specifications. In addition, students benefit from engaging in scientific activities, training, and participation in regional competitions.
