Launch of the Second Student Exhibition for the College of Dentistry at the International Emirates University

The second student exhibition for students of the College of Dentistry was launched at the International Emirates University this Monday morning. The two-day exhibition was attended by a wide range of officials and academics, including the University President, Dr. Khaled Salah; the University Vice President, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani; the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash; the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami; and the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi. The attendees included several department heads and members of the academic and administrative staff.

During the opening ceremony, the University President, Dr. Khaled Salah, praised the exhibition's student projects and artwork, which reflected the advanced academic and technical level of the college's students. He emphasized that this event represents a platform for showcasing students' creativity, honing their talents, and enhancing their practical experience. He also commended the great efforts made by the college leadership and students in organizing this scientific and artistic event.

 For his part, Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al Shami, explained that the exhibition represents a bridge of communication with the community by spreading awareness of the importance of oral and dental health and highlighting the role of dentistry in improving quality of life.

The attendees then toured the exhibition pavilions and viewed the precise anatomical models, artwork, and creative works presented by the students. Participants provided scientific explanations of their innovations and ideas, which blended academic and artistic aspects.

The contributions varied between illustrative models of teeth and jaws, drawings and artwork depicting the stages of dental growth and various treatment procedures, as well as sculptures and artwork expressing the students' passion for their specialization.

The exhibition received remarkable interaction from college students and university visitors from various disciplines, reflecting the spirit of creativity and scientific competition among the students and consolidating the university's position as an incubator for academic excellence and student innovation.
