Discussions of Graduation Project Plans Continue at the College of Engineering and Information Technology for the Academic Year 1447 AH

The College of Engineering and Information Technology at the Emirates International University continued its discussions of graduation project plans for its students for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026 CE). These discussions took place in an interactive academic atmosphere, reflecting the rigorous academic preparation and the college's commitment to fostering research methodologies and innovative thinking among its students.

 

This morning's discussions were attended by the University Secretary General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, who emphasized the importance of this pivotal stage in the students' academic journey. He described it as the first step towards professional and research projects capable of making a real impact on the job market and serving the community. He also commended the quality of the ideas presented and the ambition demonstrated by the students in choosing their project topics.

 

 The discussion was also attended by Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Dean of the College of Engineering; Dr. Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department; Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi, Head of the Information Technology Department; Dr. Mohammed Al-Alfi, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department; Dr. Jamil Rashid, Head of the Cybersecurity Department; Dr. Hisham Aqlan, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the College; and a number of heads of academic departments and faculty members.

 

Several graduation project proposals were discussed as follows:

 

The first group of students from the Artificial Intelligence Department presented their project, which was a multi-source smart inquiry agent application for university students.

 

This project was prepared by students Ibrahim Al-Farran, Hussein Noman, Ahmed Masoud, Amr Jamil, and Yahya Al-Madwahi, and supervised by Professor Ahmed Sultan Al-Hajami, with assistant supervisor Engineer Noura Al-Hababi.

 

The second group of students from the Information Technology Department presented their project, which was a smart medical guide system.

 

 The project was presented by students: Bader Al-Sarari, Saddam Al-Habishi, Elias Al-Qudsi, Ahmed Al-Qubati, Hussam Muawadah, and Osama Al-Arhabi. It was supervised by Engineer Muhannad Al-Mashraqi and Engineer Sundus Al-Nadhari.

 

The third group of students from the Information Technology Department presented their project, "Madrasati," a smart school monitoring application.

 

This project was presented by students: Hussein Ali Al-Mahalbi, Muhannad Mansour Al-Masoudi, Hashem Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, Nasser Abdullah Al-Hazmi, and Faisal Abdul Rahman Al-Baydani. It was supervised by Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi.

 

Student Abubakr Shaif Saleh Al-Azab, also from the Information Technology Department, presented his project, which was an integrated system for discovering and evaluating athletic talents based on intelligent video analysis. It was supervised by Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi, with assistant supervisor Engineer Sundus Al-Nadhari.

 

 These discussions are part of a comprehensive academic plan adopted by the college, aimed at guiding graduation projects towards applied pathways that keep pace with the rapid advancements in engineering and information technology. The plan also seeks to cultivate students' analytical and teamwork skills, enabling them to translate theoretical knowledge into innovative, practical solutions.

 

Discussions of graduation project plans are scheduled to continue in the coming days, reflecting the college's commitment to providing a high-quality educational experience that contributes to graduating highly qualified engineers and technicians capable of competing, excelling, and actively participating in building an advanced knowledge-based future.
