civil engineering Department

Civil engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering and includes the design, maintenance, construction and planning of facilities to suit human needs. Civil engineering is a science from which many specializations branch, including the construction of buildings, bridges and roads, the construction of parks and irrigation networks, factories and companies, and sanitation operations. Civil engineers are considered the foundation of practical society. They are responsible for infrastructure such as roads, buildings, facilities, bridges, and resources that provide clean water to drink and clean air to breathe in buildings and facilities. The civil engineer works with many specializations such as environmental engineering and others for the purposes of treating foundations. And engineering technologies for green buildings and new facilities, in addition to sensors that are supplied to smart substructures to meet advanced industrial needs .
