Objectives

1. Providing a high-quality educational experience in the core engineering subject areas for undergraduate and graduate programs

3. Offering  programs that provide graduates with a high level of understanding of the concept of civil engineering complemented by professional and practical skills that enable graduates to solve a wide range of civil engineering problems.

4. Serving the needs of the labor market through consulting, research, practical tests, and training services.

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2015 within the College of Engineering at Emirates  International University. The department is dedicated to empowering future leaders and innovators in the field of civil engineering through a comprehensive Bachelor of Science program. Civil engineering is in increasing demand among employers, as plans are in place to develop infrastructure, including buildings, roads, bridges, water supply and sewage networks, airports, and ports. The Civil Engineering program aims to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills required in the construction industry and instill in them a sense of responsibility towards sustainable infrastructure development. Our mission in Department of Civil Engineering is to raise the quality and maintain the scientific foundations of the civil engineering profession by graduating competent civil engineers, building skills and expertise, and disseminating scientific research.
