Launch of a training course on artificial intelligence applications in robotics and the Internet of Things using Python

As part of its vision to prepare qualified personnel with future skills, the Training and Qualification Center at the Emirates International University launched a specialized training course today, Saturday, Dhu al-Qi'dah 19, 1446 AH (corresponding to May 17, 2025 AD), titled "Artificial Intelligence Applications in Robotics and the Internet of Things Using Python." The course comprises 20 training hours. This course is part of the university's summer training program for students, "Package One."

 

The course was inaugurated by the University's Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, and a number of heads of the college's academic departments, including: Dr. Farouk Al-Fahidi, Head of the Information Technology Department; Dr. Radwan Al-Badaji, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department; Dr. Muhammad Al-Alafi, Head of the Medical Equipment Engineering Department; and Dr. Hisham Aqlan, a faculty member in the Artificial Intelligence Department.

 

 In his inaugural address, the Secretary-General emphasized that this course falls within the framework of the university's strategy to build student capacities and develop their competencies through quality training programs that keep pace with the latest technological trends, achieving academic and practical excellence for its students in various disciplines.

 

This course embodies the university's commitment to its students and its commitment to empowering them with modern practical skills that qualify them to integrate efficiently into the rapidly evolving labor market, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things, which represent a fundamental pillar of digital transformation worldwide.
