Discussion of scientific projects for second-year architecture students in the Architectural Design 3 course

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the practical and applied aspects of the educational process, the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the Emirates International University hosted a discussion of scientific projects for second-year architecture students on Saturday. This discussion was part of the requirements for the "Architectural Design 3" course and was supervised by the course instructor, Dr. Ali Al-Ghazali, and Engineer Hanan Dahhan.

The Architectural Design course contributes to enhancing integrated design skills, simulating real-life projects, developing the ability to organize and distribute functions, identifying requirements and standards, linking beauty to function, developing presentation skills, and thinking about sustainability.

The discussions and project submissions were attended by several faculty members from the department. Students presented their ideas and designs, which ranged from residential, educational, and community projects, relying on scientific foundations and modern design methodologies that take into account environmental, social, and aesthetic dimensions.

 The evaluation committee members expressed their admiration for the outstanding level demonstrated by the students, emphasizing that these projects reflect the students' advanced skills and their ability to transform theoretical knowledge into innovative real-world applications.

These discussions are part of the university's vision, which focuses on integrating education with practical practice, enhancing educational outcomes and preparing students for the job market with competence and efficiency.
