Practical workshop on building and training artificial intelligence models for students of the Information Technology Department, Level 4

In a step towards enhancing the capabilities of students of the Information Technology Department, the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Information Technology Department at the Emirates International University, organized today, Thursday, a practical workshop on building and training artificial intelligence models Building and Training Al Models for students of the Information Technology Department, Level 4. In the presence of the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amri, and a number of academic and administrative staff at the university.

 

The workshop, presented by Eng. Muhannad Al-Mashriqi, aimed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with the latest artificial intelligence technologies and apply them in real-life projects.

 

 The workshop covered a number of aspects, including the definition of artificial intelligence and machine learning and their differences, applications of artificial intelligence in daily life, the importance of machine learning in building artificial intelligence models, the basics of artificial neural networks, the stages of building and training the model, tools and programs for building and training models, practical applications of artificial intelligence, and the ethics of artificial intelligence. 

 

During the opening, Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash indicated that organizing the workshop comes within the framework of the university's keenness to provide a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing the capabilities of our students, and providing them with the practical skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the constantly changing labor market.
