The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences aspires to achieve leadership and excellence through its academic programs, research activities and community service.

Mission

To academically prepare qualified graduates majoring in financial and banking programs through providing an appropriate learning environment, enhancing and supporting scientific research, and establishing an effective partnership with NGOs.

Objectives

1.     Creating an educational environment that enhances innovation and creative thinking, and supports education and learning.

2.     Offering specialized academic programs in financial and banking sciences and continuously revise them in accordance with the quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.

3.     Preparing, academically and professionally, distinguished graduates in financial and banking sciences to meet the requirements of the local and regional markets.

4.     Enhancing and supporting scientific research in line with community needs and development requirements.

5.     Establishing effective partnerships with local and regional communities.

        6.      Attracting efficient and distinguished human resources and                                 developing their capacities in order to keep pace with recent                               developments.

The Department of Financial and Banking Sciences is one of the scientific departments of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, which specializes in the field of finance. The department seeks leadership and excellence in its academic programs, research activity, and contribution to community service, by preparing academically qualified outcomes specialized in financial and banking sciences by providing an appropriate educational environment, and integrated, supporting and encouraging scientific research, while working to establish an effective partnership with civil society institutions in general and business owners in particular  who are interested in             this field, due to the large and effective role it plays in the business world through the useful information provided by graduates of this field to take  rational decisions are built according to the outcomesof the financial system in different business sectors . In order to achieve this, the department was keen to select the best academic cadres in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation .
