Department head’s speech

Firstly, I welcome our dear students and visitors to the university’s website, and I would like to clarify the importance of specializing in information technology. As it is known, information is the basis for the success of any business at the present time, and no entity or institution can succeed without using technology and ensuring that the entity’s information is managed with high efficiency. From this logic, the importance of information technology specialization appears, which includes knowing how to use technology and the software and physical infrastructure (hardware, software, and network) appropriate for any organization and how to manage and protect the entity’s information network. This specialization allows the graduate to move in different directions and develop himself in various fields, including building, managing, and maintaining systems and networks, information security, systems analysis and development, and cloud computing.
