The College of Dentistry at the Emirates International University concludes an advanced course in rotary endodontic treatment

In a scientific endeavor reflecting its commitment to developing the dentists of the future, the College of Dentistry at the Emirates International University – Sana'a concluded a specialized training course in rotary endodontic treatment. This course is part of the university's high-quality programs aimed at developing students' skills and enhancing their clinical competence in accordance with the latest global practices.

The course, which began on Saturday, December 6th, and lasted for six days, combined in-depth theoretical training with intensive practical application, keeping pace with the demands of modern endodontic practice.

The course was presented by Dr. Hanan Al-Najashi, with Dr. Amin Al-Sunbani and Dr. Bara'a Al-Ansi supervising the training alongside her.

The theoretical component covered the history and development of rotary endodontic treatment, explained different rotary systems, types of files and their usage, and provided a comprehensive overview of the scientific and clinical aspects of endodontic treatment using this advanced technique.

 The practical aspect formed a central focus of the course. Students were divided into six training groups and received hands-on training in the college's phantom labs. This provided them with the opportunity to apply their skills and acquire the fundamentals of rotary dentistry under the supervision of a select group of specialized academic staff.

The course witnessed remarkable participation, with approximately 280 students taking part in all its activities, while nearly 200 students participated in the practical component. This clearly demonstrates the students' awareness of the importance of practical training in building their professional competence.

This course aligns with the vision of the College of Dentistry at Emirates International University, which aims to keep pace with the latest technologies in dentistry and enhance the clinical readiness of its students. This contributes to graduating qualified professionals capable of providing high-quality dental care that improves community health and meets future aspirations.
