The Emirates International University hosted a discussion today, Tuesday, of a research proposal submitted by researcher Reem Abdulwarith Mohammed Anam for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The proposal, titled “The Role of Strategic Alignment in Achieving Organizational Excellence – A Field Study of a Sample of Yemeni Pharmaceutical Factories in Sana'a,” aligns with the university's commitment to supporting scientific research related to institutional development and the national economy.

 

The study aims to highlight the importance of strategic alignment in its various dimensions and its role in enhancing organizational excellence within industrial institutions, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry as a vital and strategic sector in Yemen, given its direct impact on drug security and sustainable development.

 

 The discussion was held under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Jabr Abdul Qawi Ismail Al-Sunbani, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Emirates International University. During the session, he emphasized the importance of the research topic and its relevance to the practical realities of Yemeni institutions. He commended the researcher's efforts in selecting a contemporary research problem and employing a scientific methodology that contributes to producing applicable results.

 

The discussion committee consisted of: Associate Professor Dr. Jabr Abdul Qawi Ismail Al-Sunbani, Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Subai, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali.

 

The committee praised the research plan for its scientific rigor, precise objectives, clear methodology, and the significance of the expected results. They also offered several scholarly observations and recommendations that will enrich the research and enhance its academic and practical value.

 

This discussion is part of a series of scientific activities conducted by the Emirates International University, underscoring its leading role in preparing specialized research personnel capable of contributing to the development of institutional performance and promoting the concepts of excellence and quality in the local business environment.
