A scientific awareness visit for fifth-level dental students to Al Rahma Foundation for Orphans as part of the Preventive Dentistry course

The College of Dentistry at the UAE University organized a scientific awareness visit to Dar Al Hayat Orphanage this morning, Thursday, as part of the Preventive Dentistry course, fifth level. The visit aimed to educate the children of the orphanage about the importance of oral and dental health, and how to take care of them to maintain the health of their bodies. In the presence of Dr. Abdul Qader Zabarah, Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Haitham Al-Kumaim, Head of the Excellence Program and Director of Clinics, Dr. Azal Atef, Academic Coordinator of the College, and a number of college staff.

The scientific program began with an awareness lecture for the children, which included information on: the importance of cleaning teeth, and how to clean them properly to maintain oral and dental health.

Following the lecture, dental students examined the children's teeth, and provided advice and guidance on how to take care of them.

 At the end of the visit, the university students expressed their happiness with their experience, stressing the importance of such visits in spreading health awareness among members of society, especially children. 

For their part, the staff of Dar Al Hayat Orphanage thanked the university administration and students for this distinguished visit, which had a great impact in educating the children of the orphanage about the importance of oral and dental health. 

This visit comes within the framework of the keenness of the College of Dentistry at the university to enhance its role in serving the community and spreading health awareness among its members, especially orphans.
