In an academic setting reflecting the depth of scientific excellence and the quality of educational outcomes, the Emirates International University witnessed the discussion of a groundbreaking graduation project by students from the Department of Management Information Systems in the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences. The project, titled "Skilled Labor System," was presented as part of the requirements for obtaining a Bachelor's degree.
The project, presented by students Catherine Ahmed Ali Al-Ba'asi, Abrar Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Nakhlani, and Farah Khalil Abdo Mohammed Al-Qudsi, under the supervision of Dr. Mukhtar Ghilan, demonstrated an advanced academic level and a remarkable ability to utilize technical knowledge to address real-world challenges affecting society and the labor market.
The discussion committee comprised a distinguished group of specialized academics, including Dr. Mukhtar Ghilan, Head of the Department of Management Information Systems; Dr. Mohammed Al-Kholani; Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sabri; Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi; and Professor Safaa Al-Bahlouli, who commended the project's high quality and its advanced practical applications.
The project aims to provide a comprehensive digital solution to a fundamental problem in Sana'a's daily labor market: the lack of an organized and reliable platform connecting clients with skilled workers. This absence leads to inefficiency and a lack of transparency. The team sought to build a modern electronic platform that enables direct and rapid communication, ensuring easy access to skilled labor and enhancing opportunities for organized employment.
The project adopted an Agile development methodology, reflecting an advanced understanding of global best practices in software engineering, along with a three-tier architecture that guarantees performance quality and scalability. It also focused on high standards of performance, reliability, and security by achieving rapid response times, ensuring high operational continuity, and implementing advanced data protection technologies.
The project's importance extends beyond its technical aspects to include economic and social dimensions. It is expected to contribute to expanding the labor market for skilled workers, improving service quality through transparent evaluation systems, and providing a reliable and seamless customer experience through real-time tracking and instant notifications.
This project is a prime example of the high-quality education offered by Emirates International University, which keeps pace with the demands of the modern era and focuses on preparing graduates capable of innovation and problem-solving. This reinforces its role as a leading academic institution in building promising careers for its students and making a tangible, positive impact on society.
