In a display of innovation and pioneering digital solutions, a group of students from the Management Information Systems Department at the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Emirates International University presented a unique graduation project entitled “Smart Car Maintenance Management and Services System.” This project embodies an advanced model for digital transformation projects that meet market needs and keep pace with modern technological developments.

The project, prepared by students: Miad Ahmed Saad, Manal Mohammed Taha Ibrahim, Anhar Adel Al-Ashmouri, Raghad Ammar Mufleh, and Elaf Abdul Karim Al-Omari, under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Aqlan, is a comprehensive technological solution aimed at improving the car maintenance experience. It utilizes a smart platform that connects car owners, maintenance workshops, and spare parts dealers in a single, user-friendly, and efficient digital environment.

The system is distinguished by its advanced user experience, providing each user category with a dedicated account that meets their specific needs. Car owners can pinpoint their exact location, locate the nearest workshop or spare parts store, and communicate directly with service providers. They can also send photos of breakdowns and rate the service quality after completion. Meanwhile, repair shops can efficiently manage their data and services and track customer requests, while spare parts dealers can showcase their products and interact with users quickly and easily.

The project also addresses the administrative aspect, featuring a comprehensive control panel that allows management to monitor overall system performance, manage users, and generate reports, thus enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making.

The system was developed using cutting-edge technologies. The Flutter framework was used to build smartphone applications, along with Laravel and MySQL for the backend, and Google Maps was integrated for precise geolocation. This reflects a high level of technical integration and professional implementation.

This project is a prime example of the outstanding educational outcomes at Emirates International University, which continues to solidify its position as a leading academic institution dedicated to developing talent and equipping students with practical skills that meet the demands of the job market.
