The College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University launched its graduation project discussions for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026) on Tuesday. The discussions took place in a distinguished academic atmosphere, reflecting the high level of scientific maturity and innovation achieved by the students. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, department heads, faculty members, project supervisors, and discussion committees.

 

During the project discussions, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali, emphasized in his address that this year's graduation projects represent a qualitative leap in the level of academic output. He noted that the students did not limit themselves to theoretical aspects but presented innovative applied solutions that keep pace with the requirements of digital transformation and meet the needs of society and the job market. He added that these projects reflect the college's vision of preparing graduates capable of creativity and competition, and contributing effectively to building a knowledge-based economy founded on technology and innovation. He commended the faculty members for their supervision and guidance, and praised the students for their commitment and excellence throughout the project development process.

 

The first day of the event featured discussions of four high-quality projects from the Management Information Systems Department, showcasing a diversity of ideas and a depth of technical expertise.

 

The first group presented their project, "The Smart Citizen Application," which aims to empower citizens to report infrastructure problems through a smart application that uses location-based technology and enables immediate communication with relevant authorities. This contributes to improving response times, enhancing transparency, and increasing the efficiency of public services. The project was developed by students Wissam Musaed Al-Faiq, Mohammed Waleed Al-Maamari, Munir Sami Al-Baghdadi, Mohammed Tariq Al-Duais, Elias Ahmed Al-Arami, and Ziad Mansour Abdul Qader, under the supervision of Dr. Ashwaq Al-Janoubi and Ms. Safaa Al-Bahlouli.

 

 The second group presented their project, “My Teachers’ Application and Platform,” which offers a comprehensive digital solution connecting students and parents with certified private tutors through a smart platform that provides a direct evaluation and booking system. This enhances the quality of education and supports the digital transformation in the education sector. The project was developed by students: Muhannad Amir Ahmad Agha, Rabee Fahd Ahmad Al-Saidi, Muhammad Sabri Hussein Al-Najjar, Jamal Munir Shaif Al-Absi, and Amjad Rashad Muhammad Al-Abbasi, under the supervision of Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi and Ms. Safaa Al-Bahlouli.

 

The third group presented their project, “Smart Car Maintenance Management and Services System.” This integrated system connects car owners, maintenance workshops, and spare parts dealers on a single digital platform. It enables location tracking, direct communication, and efficient service management, contributing to an improved user experience and increased trust in the automotive services sector. The project was developed by students: Miad Ahmad Saad, Manal Muhammad Taha Ibrahim, Anhar Adel Al-Ashmouri, Raghad Ammar Mufleh, and Elaf Abdul Karim Al-Omari, under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Aqlan.

 

 The fourth group presented the “Blood Donation Platform – Your Blood Saves Lives” project, a pioneering humanitarian and technological initiative aimed at organizing blood donations through a digital platform that connects hospitals and blood banks with donors. This platform provides accurate and immediate information, contributing to faster response times and saving lives, while also promoting a culture of donation within the community. The project was prepared by students: Yasmin Saeed Al-Jaradi, Hanan Fawzi Thabet, Norman Waleed Rajih, Maryam Fawaz Al-Kumaim, and Amal Abdulrahman Hajar, under the supervision of Dr. Hisham Aqlan.

 

The discussion committee consisted of a distinguished group of academics, including Dr. Ibrahim Al-Haddad (external examiner), Dr. Hisham Aqlan, Dr. Mukhtar Ghilan (Head of Department), Dr. Abdullah Al-Qurashi (Head of the Department of International Business Administration), Dr. Jabr Al-Sunbani (Head of the Department of Business Administration), Dr. Fahmi Al-Daqaf (Head of the Departments of Accounting and Financial and Banking Sciences), Dr. Mohammed Al-Rahbi (Academic Advisor to the College), Dr. Ashwaq Al-Jaboubi, and Eng. Ru’a Al-Mujahid.

 

 These events underscore the college's commitment to graduating highly qualified individuals with digital skills and innovative capabilities, thereby strengthening its leading role in supporting sustainable development and serving the community through educational outcomes that keep pace with modern advancements and confidently and competently anticipate the future.
