The Deanship of Graduate Studies at the University launched the first discussions of Master's research proposals for students in the Business Administration program, marking a first for graduate studies programs.
The discussions began with the proposal of student Khalid Ahmed Karim, titled:
“The Role of Digital Maturity in Enhancing Organizational and Administrative Standards for JCI Accreditation in Private Hospitals in the Capital Governorate of Sana'a.” The proposal was supervised by Professor Abdullah Al-Qurashi, with Professor Abdulkhaliq Tawaf serving as the external examiner and Dr. Mohammed Al-Kahali as the internal examiner.
The proposal addressed a scientific framework that integrates the concepts of digital transformation, organizational maturity, and governance of administrative processes, linking them to the international health accreditation standards (JCI). This reflects the university's focus on applied institutional research with an impact on the health sector.
During the event, the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, emphasized that the launch of the Master's thesis discussions represents a qualitative academic leap, strengthening the path of scientific research according to approved standards.
Secretary-General Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanish pointed out that graduate programs are a vital resource for developing leaders and enhancing applied research to serve national development.
For his part, Dean of Graduate Studies Professor Abdullah Al-Qurashi explained that the discussion embodies a commitment to scientific methodology and academic supervision standards. Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi emphasized that the research topic aligns with the principles of comprehensive quality and institutional accreditation, highlighting the role of digital maturity in improving institutional performance and achieving international accreditation.
The discussion was attended by several department heads, faculty members, and graduate students in an academic atmosphere characterized by constructive scientific dialogue.
This launch is a strategic step towards establishing high-quality graduate programs that contribute to building qualified research personnel and producing applied knowledge that serves vital sectors.
